MoovinIQ is a property intelligence platform providing postcode-level amenity data and lifestyle scoring for residential properties. The platform is operated by MoovinIQ, based in the United Arab Emirates.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data when you use MoovinIQ:

• Postcodes you enter — used solely to query our property database and return amenity information. Postcodes are not stored, logged, or associated with any individual user.
• Analytics data — via Google Analytics 4 (GA4), we collect anonymised usage data including pages visited, general location (derived from IP address at a city/region level), device type, browser type, and user interactions such as postcode lookups and PDF downloads. Your full IP address is not stored by Google Analytics.
• Cookie consent preferences — we record whether you have accepted or declined cookies so we do not ask you again on subsequent visits.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information unless you contact us directly.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide the property report and postcode comparison service
• To understand how users interact with the platform so we can improve it (analytics)
• To monitor usage levels and track engagement with features such as PDF downloads
• To comply with our legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not sell your data to any third party.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Consent — for placing analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4). You are asked for consent via our cookie banner when you first visit the site. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking the cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.
• Legitimate interests — for understanding how the platform is used in aggregate, to improve the service.

5. Cookies

MoovinIQ uses the following types of cookies:

• Strictly necessary cookies — used to store your cookie consent preference. These do not require consent and cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics 4 only if you accept cookies. These help us understand how visitors use the site. You can reject these via the cookie banner.

6. Third Parties We Share Data With

We use the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

• Google Analytics 4 (analytics.google.com) — anonymised usage analytics. Data is processed in accordance with Google's privacy policy and their Data Processing Terms. GA4 is configured not to store full IP addresses.
• Supabase (supabase.com) — our hosted database provider. Postcode lookups query this database. No personal data is stored in the database; it contains only property and amenity data.
• Netlify (netlify.com) — our website hosting provider. Netlify may log server access requests including IP addresses for security purposes, in accordance with their privacy policy.
• CookieYes (cookieyes.com) — our cookie consent management platform. Stores your consent preference.

7. International Data Transfers

MoovinIQ is operated from the United Arab Emirates. Some of our third-party service providers (including Google and Netlify) may process data on servers located outside the UK. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

8. How Long We Keep Your Data

• Analytics data — retained by Google Analytics for 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted.
• Cookie consent records — retained for 12 months, after which your preference will be asked again.
• Postcode queries — not retained. Queries are processed in real time and not logged.

9. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access — you can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
• Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your personal data
• Right to restrict processing — you can ask us to limit how we use your data
• Right to object — you can object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests
• Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time
• Right to lodge a complaint — you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data processed through MoovinIQ. Our platform is served over HTTPS, and our database is hosted on Supabase with row-level security enabled. We do not store any personal data in our database.

11. Children

MoovinIQ is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through our platform, please contact us at GDPR@MoovinIQ.com.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
